Role and Responsibilities :

  • Performing wide range of payroll department activities as mentioned below but not limited to :
  • Responsible for global payroll processing of around 2500+ employees through in-house systems and outsourced payroll providers.
  • Prepare payroll line item level calculations to ensure timely payroll processing;
  • Prepare necessary payroll schedules on monthly basis for gross salary, bonuses / commissions, overtime calculations, leave encasement, statutory and supplemental benefits, payroll taxes, and other deductions / allowances.
  • Prepare and reconcile the Head counts for payroll processing for all locations / entities.
  • Prepare necessary working to adjust the terminations and off-cycle payrolls adjustments.
  • Time record-keeping of all payroll employees in a Centralized document management system.
  • Prepare GL accounting entries for payroll cycles, accruals, and benefits, and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure payroll data is reflected accurately in the general ledger.
  • Ensuring necessary Fund disbursement in coordination with treasury for monthly payroll payment.
  • Working with external third party payroll providers for timely processing of payroll as local laws /
  • Respond to audit and accounting queries in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and respond to payroll-related emails and queries.
  • Contribute in the payroll process improvement, initiatives, designing reports for payroll reporting.
  • Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in similar field or related functional expertise.
  • In depth understanding of global HR Payroll software’s & ERP accounting systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in MS office application (advanced excel, word, Power point).
  • Preferred Skills

  • Good understanding of compensation & benefits concepts.
  • Data analytics and data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitasking.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
