Job Purpose

To help GSK to have best quality in performance measurement and insight gathering to support profitable growth agenda of Emerging markets

  • Create consistent and coherent performance measurement and tracking system across EM
  • Establish standard KPIs in collaboration with global analytics team to set strong measurement tools to track performance;
  • competition; quality in customer engagement; business impact and bridge lead parameters to lag outcomes

  • Provide efficiencies in primary and secondary data resource utilization
  • Ensure synergies in reporting systems

    Business Intelligence Manager

  • Support execution of regional ad hoc market researches as Perception Study ; STEM; VoC
  • Directs and oversees high level strategic and tactical decisions for business intelligence tools and applications.
  • To identify measurement systems and criteria to assess effectiveness of initiatives and propose improvements based on facts and data.
  • To ensure optimal use of information at lowest complexity within GSK BI Tools for key commercial processes.
  • To show confidence in interacting with the commercial team and challenge assumptions and decisions needed using data and fact based evidence whenever possible
  • To support / lead field force bonus system calculation.
  • To analyse different sources of data and compile a range of reports on a periodic basis in accordance with GSK standards on company’s performance as well as competitors’ activities and thereby enable the decision makers to make sound business decisions.
  • To create daily and weekly sales performance analyses to sales teams in relation with the month end sales targets.
  • Making ad-hoc analysis for business units.
  • Taking part in strategic projects like Segmentation, Targeting and Territory Alignment.
  • Facilitates organizational data strategies for design, implementation, integration and usage.
  • Ensure excellence in descriptive analytics and use of analysis enhances business decision making capabilities.
  • Ensure utilization of EM / global analytics systems in the LoC; derive business insights from descriptive and predictive analytics;
  • ensure utilization of global data management systems

  • Ensure deployment of global analytics systems as Territory 360 and Customer 360 in LoC
  • Have clear oversight on LoC performance measurement and data management systems
  • Help business to innovate on the future industry to become more profitable and improve their performances, solve complex industry and market related challenges
  • Basic qualifications :

    Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Statistics. MBA is an asset

    The job holder needs to be tenacious and have a strong performance mindset. To achieve this the job holder needs to have :

    Min 3-5 years experience in business intelligence or related area

    Pharma experience is an asset

    Consultancy or agency experience is an asset

    Commercial experience is an asset

    Fluency in English

    People management experience is required

    Above the country experience is an asset

    Capable of working across boundaries and functional areas

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    High resilience and agility

    Strategic and analytical minset

    Full project lifecycle appreciation

    Creative in problem solving

    Demonstrable evidence of multi-cultural sensitivity

    Preferred qualifications :

  • Local and international interaction is highly required, since role is reporting to EM and operates in LoC, responsible from the function.
  • Statistics knowledge is required to do forecasting and correlation analysis. High analytical skills is required. Market research knowledge is required.
  • Innovation on process development is required. Problem solving is crucial since EM BI strategy will be built.
