About the Role :

In this role, you would be given the critical responsibility of Performance Management of My Telenor app , Alternate Channels & Postpaid Consumer Segment.

This also feeds directly into the ambition of Telenor becoming a digitally savvy company, dedicated to providing convenience to its customers.

Your Impactful Goals will include :

The job role would entail work with a lot of reporting, analytics & dashboard development in the digital ecosystem & Postpaid Consumer side.

Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI / Excel or any other tool.

Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence. Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.

Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set / excel.

Expert in writing SQL & Extracting Data and reports for Segment users (MyTelenor App, Alternate Channel, Postpaid Consumer Segment).

One window reporting solution for Digital & B2C Segments.

Create Digital Reporting Environment with Operational Efficiency.

Develop and improve the Reporting / Analysis framework & Dashboards based on Business Requirement, New Projects and Execution of business reports.

Develop performance metrics based on relevant KPI’s.

Preparation of monthly / Quarterly / Yearly KPIs dashboard.

Your Typical Day will look like :

Manage & Support / develop team members working on their respective streams (Digital / B2C) to ensure effective implementation of dashboards, reporting and analysis in the context of Telenor product and services.

Perform in-depth study (where required) and build strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators and make different analysis across different channels.

Design Digital (My Telenor App, Alternate Channels, Postpaid Consumer Segment) dashboard to reduce manual working in excel.

Hands-on Vertica / SQL to do adhoc analysis & extract reports for other segments too.

Process oriented approach towards problem solving Reporting, data interpretation and quantitative analysis.

Meet all performance tracking reports deadlines with accuracy.

Respond to analysis and reporting needs within TAT.

Analyze outputs for accuracy and relevance with the segment requirements and formulate these into meaningful reports / analysis / Insights.

Identifying opportunities with respective different KPIs and add value in existing analysis & identify the key focus area for growth.

Ensure Number Crunching, Data quality check, numbers validation, data Archiving.

Execution of segment reporting on daily basis according to agreed formats.

Your Career Path :

What we're looking for :

Education : Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Data Analytics and / or an Masters in a similar background.

Work experience : 2 3 year Telco experience on SQL, reporting, analysis and Dashboards creation and knowledge of general Digital & Segment framework.

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas :

Proficient in MS Excel / Power BI / Vertica and SQL for reporting and analysis.

Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work on tight deadlines.

Ability to work well in a pressure situation, Self-motivated and flexible.

Data Interpretation & Quantitative skills.

Ability to carry out analyses & reporting and develop actionable insights for the team.

Good commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate competence in data analysis and reporting.

Good planning and organizing skills.

Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal & written).

Teambuilding skills.
