The Position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) acts as liaison between our Sales & Marketing teams and holds an important position at the top of the sales funnel for the company.

The primary responsibility is to drive interest in the POMS Corporation product offerings and qualify leads through great first impressions.

Specifically, this role involves engaging with prospective and existing customers to provide timely information and establish meetings for the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the sales team to achieve sales objectives
  • Manage database to target prospective customers and generate leads in alignment with overall sales strategy
  • Update the database based on account notes and through online research (company website, professional networking websites, social media, etc).
  • Leverage CRM and other tools to document tasks and prospect information
  • Engage and nurture contacts
  • Leverage marketing content to create an effective outreach plan through email and social outreach : minimum 60 outreaches per day
  • Schedule appointments for the sales team
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the Manufacturing Execution System space (MES for healthcare products industries (pharmaceutical, bio-pharmaceutical, medical devices).
  • Share, learn, and collaborate to improve execution and drive results
  • Ability to work 8AM-5PM EST (05PM PKT - 02AM PKT)
  • Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from UK / Europe / US / Australia preferred
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce or other)
  • Manufacturing systems domain knowledge as asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
