The Opportunity

As LDP Logistics continues to grow our customer base, our Logistics Sales Team is looking for high performing individuals to service the unique needs of our evolving customers.

These individuals must be able to work in a collaborative environment with the ability to connect with our customers and build solid relationships.

We also need people who aren't afraid to make cold calls and enjoy the challenge of prospecting and landing a sale. You will learn how to quote freight effectively, acting as the bridge between our customer and our carriers.

Someone with a true entrepreneurial spirit will excel in our environment.

The Team(s)

You will be part of the Logistics Sales department at LDP Logistics which consists of two different types of sales, Drayage and Domestic.

It’s a collective group of people that are advocates for their customers by understanding their business challenges while also always looking for new business opportunities as well.

The growth here is just the beginning though, as we see the market has respond very favorably to our approach.

This is an opportunity to be involved in the inception of a huge part of our business! Your performance will be measured by consistent prospecting (cold calling, email outreach, etc.

closing new business and growing existing relationships through an unmatched level of service. While leads are occasionally given, we do expect all new hires to have the skills, creativity, and drive to take the lead on their own career by building relationships with new customers.

Additionally, at LDP Logistics, we run a cradle to grave model, meaning all brokers are responsible for their freight from start to finish (the initial prospect and sale to delivery).

The Skill Set

  • Empathetic to customer needs with the ability to translate those needs into solutions that deliver value
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Prior experience in a sales related function strongly preferred
