You will be responsible for :

  • Assisting the Education Office in managing administrative / logistic tasks that are required to ensure its smooth operation.
  • Organizing all Education Office-related meetings (online / F2F) and appointments for the faculty (on and off campus).
  • Assisting faculty in maintaining Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for the courses.
  • Engaging in all written correspondence (memos, reference letters, emails, reports)..
  • Liaising with the students, faculty members and coordinators of the graduate programmes.
  • Creating and sharing the online meeting room links for the courses before commencement of classes with respective course facilitators (for online classes).
  • Assisting the faculty in obtaining academic / research materials through internet / intranet search and / or from the library.
  • Organizing and maintaining of files (hardcopy & softcopy), academic papers and reports for reference and retrieval.
  • Coordinating with relevant departments of AKU e.g. Admin / Finance / HR / IT / Audio Visual etc. for logistics and communicating with faculty, students and others on behalf of supervising faculty.
  • Making travel / transport arrangements when required.
  • You should have :

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (BA, B.Com).
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Good communication skills in English and Urdu (both oral and written).
  • The ability to minute meetings and write reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
