We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Manager PR & Corporate Communications to join our marketing team and drive planning and execution of PR activities while providing creative ideas to help achieve our goals.
You will develop and implement PR campaigns as well as manage media.
Strategy : Be the driver of our PR strategy from planning till execution. Our communications are primarily focused on consumer PR but also includes efforts in trade and corporate PR.
Support the marketing team to create awareness of the foodpanda brand.
Conceive and organise PR events : Help and support in all forms of public relations and campaign execution.
Crisis management and preemptive planning : Responding to crises and setbacks, overseeing a team of diverse communications roles and ensuring that information released is consistent with the strategy at large.
This includes but not limited to preparing and updating the manual / SOP documentation, participating in the company’s Emergency Response Plan (ERP) exercise, preparing the spokesperson through mock exercises and monitoring the media / social media.
Improve press office management : Come up with refined processes for answering daily media enquiries and identifying interesting journalists on a local level.
Manage and update media databases by developing a strong network for the brand (food, lifestyle, corporate).
Content ideas and local adaptation : Adapt the content provided by our global team with local information and work with our content writers to find new creative angles for journalists.
Drive and monitor performance : Monitor performance of PR activities, improve internal processes, sharing detailed reports to the marketing team.
Perform market research and competitor analysis.
Minimum of 5-6 years of working experience in Corporate Communication / Public Relations field.
Agency work experience strongly preferred.
Posses crisis management experience.
Experienced in managing lifestyle and corporate media. Experience working with or at technology, internet, digital or e-commerce brands is a plus.
A keen understanding of media and the news cycle with proven success achieving coverage.
A good understanding of the main digital platforms.
Strong organizational skills, results-driven and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
Resourceful problem-solving skills; A quick learner with a strong sense of curiosity.
Able to take initiative and to work independently and within a team.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Creative yet numbers-driven approach to creating content, setting up processes and analyzing data at hand.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office & Google Suite.
