Key Areas of Responsibility
The PS technical Consultant provides technical deployment expertise and support to both end Clients and our local PS organizations as part of their project implementations activities.
The overall objective is to implement a series of Software Solutions for the monitoring and management of the Customers ATM terminals and provide support for any customizations.
In this role, the consultant will be involved in the deployment of NCR Vision solution which is made of multiple modules and interfaces.
Travel to customer site will be required.
As part of the technical project implementation lifecycle, the consultant will conduct / deliver the following :
Provide expertise on the deployment and use of the Vision Software suite
Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the functional use of the Vision System
Troubleshooting and optimization activities on deployed systems
Support deployment and troubleshooting of Vision and Clustering / HA / DRs & Load Balancers
Workshops meetings to gather and document specs and customer requirements
System / Customer data gathering for deployment of APTRA Vision
Produce Statements of Works, project estimates and delivery documents
Server deployment inside the customer IT infrastructure
Windows Server administration activities and troubleshooting
Liaise with Engineering & Support Teams to deploy SW / patches / fixes etc.
Customization of the System Software to fit with the customer requirements
Review processes and procedures and apply improvements
Project management and coordination

Basic Skills and Qualifications :
We are looking for a consultant eager to learn new things, attracted by technical challenges and willing to invest in new and challenging environment.
Training will be provided. This role requires travel primarily across Europe with travel to worldwide regions.
Solid interest in technologies
5+ years of related experience
Very Good communication and documentation skills
Technical computing post college qualification (Degree)
Strong customer facing experience
Good understanding of SW / HW deployment / Applications and Databases
Good understanding of Clustering / HA / F5 Load Balancers / VMs / Azures / VPN
Ability to troubleshoot networks, ports, security firewall issues
Ability to review logs and traces
Well versed in SW / HW deployment / networking, LAN / WAN / security / firewalls / LDAP etc.
Load balancers (F5) / clustering platform and configs experience an advantage
General exposure / experience to Apache / database queries and or Shell Scripting / XML editing- Reg Expressions Groovy / batch files a plus
Good analysis and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work with teams and on own initiative
Exposure and previous experience on ATM / POS Application terminals an advantage
