Job Description

  • Reporting to OFA BLM, concerned sales Engineer will be responsible for the development and growth of the respective Division within divisional targets and objectives.
  • Their task is to increase market & customer share and to maximize profitability.

  • To maintain regular contact with all customers including key accounts and dealers with effective / frequent visit plan.
  • To maximize sales across the assigned territory through both direct and indirect sales channels and implement the agreed territory management plan.
  • Achieve sales and profit targets and report progress on monthly basis
  • Quotations submitted and follow up reports for Direct or Indirect Channels on regular basis.
  • To support sales through the effective provision of sales data, including the timely recording of visit and monthly reports (including Order Received, Orders Invoiced, and Orders in hand, lost order reports).
  • To ensure that an excellent standard of after sales service is provided in conjunction with After Market.
  • To Handle / Follow-ups for LCs / P.Os / Tenders and related issues like amendments / Modifications and follow ups etc.
  • To assist with ensuring the timely recovery of receivables from customers.
  • Assessing the customer and its payment capacity and in-line offering the payment terms and conditions.
  • Keeping a track of competition activities and market price levels.
  • To suggest sales promotional activities as and when required.
  • To always protect and present the company image in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Be familiar with AC the way we do things and Business code of practice and apply in daily operations.
  • Support the AC group’s vision First in Mind, First in Choice by contributing continuously to a customer value and a customer care driven culture.
  • In addition to the above, can also be assigned any additional responsibilities.

    Experience requirements :

  • Solid sales experience, preferable in the Compressed air equipment.
  • Proven track record of delivering profitable sales results.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven business analysis ability.
  • Good standard of presentation skills.
  • Atlas Copco experience will be considered a definite plus.
  • Knowledge :

  • Good Knowledge of compressed air equipment.
  • Adequate knowledge of using MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
  • Candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Educational requirements :

  • Technical Bachelor’s degree or proven similar experience
