SSE will be responsible to possibly lead a team of 2-3 developers to work on Open Building Designer module(s) as per assigned time to time.
He will be required to participate in design and development of new features. He will be working closely with management to understand the requirements, ensuring quality wok, timely delivery of product and guide the team towards success.
Along with development goals, he will be providing mentoring to the junior colleagues.
Work closely with product management to understand required tasks, and guide team efforts towards successful project delivery.
Foster high standards of software quality within the team.
Participate in the design and development of new features.
Write high quality (efficient, well-tested, well-architected) code.
Participate in code reviews to share knowledge and ensure high quality output from the team.
Provide technical leadership to team members through coaching and mentorship.
Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and approaches as needed.
Primary technologies you will work with include : C++, C#, WPF
BS / MS in computer science, software engineering or related field.
5-7 years' experience in software development.
Proficient in C++ (and / or C#).
Prior experience in a technical leadership position.
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
Ability to provide technical leadership through coaching and mentorship.
Ability to work independently and solve problems, and to know when to ask for help.
Ability to communicate and promote use of best practices across the team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development practices, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps processes / tools.
Knowledge of CAD applications
Proficiency in Maths (Geometry)
