EY Rapid Innovation

As a Multinational Member Firm in the EY network, Rapid Innovation, based in Karachi, exclusively provides its services to MENA based EY Member Firms across the MENA region, excluding Pakistan.

The work is executed remotely by working virtually with our MENA onshore teams and may also require extensive travel to MENA EY offices.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a SAP Development Lead (Manager / Senior Manager), to join our rapidly expanding Technology Consulting team.

The role will be based in our Pakistan Resource Hub. While the role will be based in Karachi or Lahore, the expectation will be to travel for projects to other MENA locations and mainly GCC countries for regional projects, for up to 70%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of functional and non-functional requirements presenting custom solution options for addressing the gaps in standard functionality;
  • associated complexity and effort estimates

  • Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and project stakeholders
  • Design SAP innovative custom solutions that are based on best and / or leading practices
  • Build and code solutions and frameworks ensuring adherence to software development lifecycle and naming standards
  • Ensure highest quality solutions using code reviews, technical and performance testing
  • Have practical experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects
  • Must have experience in all development deliverables including development and integration strategies, technical specifications, code and unit tests.
  • Must be able to operate on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Must also be able to operate in multi-functional, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Must be able to present and lead client workshops on key technical topics. Be able to influence and / or convince leaders and decision makers
  • Communicate all solution design and concepts to implementation teams
  • Must be able to work both in a team environment and independently
  • Provide support and guidance to coach and mentor junior developers on SAP technologies and practices including guidance on training
  • Technical skills requirements

  • 8-10+ years of SAP development and integration experience
  • SAP ABAP experience with all RICEFW object types
  • SAP S / 4HANA, BW / 4HANA
  • SAP Fiori development and extensions using Business Application Studio preferred
  • ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
  • SAP PI / PO / CPI experience preferred
  • SAP BTP Extension Suite and Integration Suite experience preferred
  • Experience in any / all Core Data Services, OData Services, CAP and RAP preferred
  • At least 8-10 end to end SAP full lifecycle implementations of which 2 in the capacity of SAP Development lead managing a team of developers (including offshore preferable).
