PURPOSE AND SCOPE Ameritech , a US-based IT services company is looking for a highly motivated Network and Systems Engineer for its Lahore delivery center.

The candidate will report directly to our Delivery Director based out of our Lahore office. In addition, the position offers an opportunity to work with the latest technology stack including but not limited to advanced solutions from Dell / EMC, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Unitrends, DRaaS and such.

They are comfortable in their skin and confident in their skills, allowing them to efficiently manage complex assignments and in addition triage and solve customer issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement efficient solutions to meet business requirements and solve business issues.
Remotely assist with implementation, configuration, installs, troubleshoot, remediation of all network, servers, applications, systems, desktop, voice, and surveillance at any Ameritech US-based client locations, as assigned.
Track, update and resolve tickets in the Helpdesk Ticketing system - ZohoDesk or similar.
Initiate and manage ticket resolution with 3rd party vendors for any break / fix issue that may occur, such as, Dell EMC, Cisco Meraki etc.
Create and compile documents to update projects, system and network architectures and assets.
Manage and support endpoint security, such as ESET, Trend Micro
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE Required
Proven background in providing great customer service.
Experience working with vSphere 6.0 and ESXi6.0, including upgrades to 6.5 and higher.
Experience working with Windows servers 2012 R2 and higher, including upgrades. (Administration)
Experience working with Doman Controllers, Remote Desktop Servers, Active Directory, GPOs
Experience working with Windows SQL server 2008 R2 and higher (Administration)
Experience working with a wide array of Backup and Recovery Solutions, such as AWS Storage Gateway, Veeam, Nakivo, Unitrends, Backup Assist, and such.
Strong network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting experience (VLAN, firewall, switches)
Some application support and administration Google G-Business suite, Exchange
Experience migrating Exchange 2010 to O-365
Business Application upgrades and migration (such as Worldox, Rainmaker, eClinicalWorks or similar)
EDUCATION Bachelor’s Degree Required. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES Relevant industry certificates are a plus. Additional Requirements

Healthcare / medical / legal industry experience or knowledge of HIPAA a plus
