What you'll do
Responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the sourcing, procurement, and facility management processes for the organization
Lead spend analysis efforts to understand aggregate organizational spend by category for the purpose of developing sourcing, category management and transactional procurement strategies
Develop a strategic sourcing plan and category roadmap that leverages organizational spend to increase purchasing power, reduce cost, improve quality and eliminate redundancy
Recommend and implement procurement policies that drive contract compliance and reduce leakage
Implement contract negotiation best practices that optimize the use of discounts, payment terms and billing frequency to improve EBITDA and cash flow
Establish purchasing strategies, develop supplier relationships, and recommend enhancements to the global purchasing process
Provide thought leadership on demand and supplier trends to identify opportunities for better business outcomes
Drive adoption of global sourcing strategies across the enterprise and ensure ongoing teamwork
Work with Business Partners and functional colleagues to gather business requirements for category strategy development
Develop Procurement KPIs to evaluate and monitor the efficiency of an organization's procurement management.
Develop and own the real estate strategy. Identify when we should open offices, when we should close them or consolidate them.
Identify how we can get more leverage from our real estate portfolio
Keep and maintain an updated real estate portfolio at all times
Oversee the design, planning, budget and build-out / construction of the company's physical office spaces in compliance with local building codes
Lead the bidding / RFP, selection, and contract negotiation processes for facility contractors and vendors, and oversee performance results and the lifecycle of the relationship
Participate in the budget planning process and ensure the department is operating within the approved budget in a cost-effective and timely manner
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain Management or Business (Master’s degree preferred)
Experience in the technology industry with knowledge across a wide range of procurement categories
10+ years experience of related work including procurement / sourcing experience with increasing global responsibility and experience in a matrixed company environment
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Facilities Management & Services including managing corporate facilities, reviewing legal lease agreements, and managing real estate lease negotiations
