The Gaming team is in charge of delivering innovative digital experiences to our customers and we here do everything from creating new apps and platforms to partnering with relevant gaming partners.

We are looking to strengthen our team by hiring a professional with a strong combination of business acumen and product management skills to help him / her act as a bridge among all stakeholders, thereby enabling our digital products’ to leap from the current state to an ambitious future.

Your Impactful Goals :

You will develop a gaming strategy and implementation plan across Pakistan. You will also play an integral role in driving digital ambitions for revenue, penetration, usage enhancement by bringing in right partners and developing products / services accordingly for target segment(s), and creating service differentiation.

Your Responsibilities :

  • You will define and drive the Gaming strategy and roadmap
  • You will be responsible for scaling DOB, Service Bundling, E-sports and Publishing Businesses
  • You will be responsible for P&L, forecasting, and business planning for the gaming vertical
  • You will oversee daily product operations such as revenue, OPEX and COGs trends
  • You will manage and work with cross-functional teams to get the strategy implemented (Marketing, Segments, Sales and Distribution, Pricing, Products, Business Intelligence, Technology)
  • As a key player, you will strengthen analytics to formulate and update business projections including revenue forecasting, cost estimation, new product - offering and profit expectation
  • You will develop a high performing team with an ability to execute with quality and speed
  • You will identify trends and insights and supervise performance optimization of digital and traditional media
  • You will brainstorm new and creative, organic, and paid growth, engagement, and retention strategies
  • You will prioritize, scale and automate growth channels for gaming products
  • Keep yourself abreast with the latest developments in the landscape of the gaming industry
  • Ensure that customer experience is at the center of all decisions in the gaming vertical. This includes UI / UX, complaint handling and working very closely with the Customer Experience team
  • Leverage Telenor’s existing retail footprint and customer touchpoints to drive growth for Telenor gaming products.
  • Being a key member of the Digital Management Team, you will play an active role in helping digital division succeed as one team
  • Qualification :

    MBA / Masters in business / quantitative analysis / mathematics preferred

    Experience :

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in senior commercial roles preferably with product management, digital marketing, partnership management, business planning, pricing, or commercial analytics
  • Proven track record of P&L success and scaling user engagement in product portfolio as a mandatory requirement with a strong preference to be given to candidates with Mobile Gaming or Telco / MFS App growth hacking leadership expertise
  • Combination of a strong Commercial background with an understanding of technology platforms
  • Visionary with an ability to execute with speed
  • Sound analytical and independent learning ability
  • Strong people skills and effective stakeholder management
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Comfortable in uncertain situations
  • Sound understanding of the dynamics of the gaming industry
  • Strong commercial business acumen
  • Imagination and creativity, desire to move things
