The position is located within the General Services Section. United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP), Islamabad.
The incumbent will report to the Chief of Section or his / her designate.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical training in electrical engineering technology or in a relevant technical discipline is required.
At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in construction project implementation in a private, commercial or military environment, in installing, servicing.
Previous experience in a post conflict environment or other field operations is highly desirable
Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by competency-based interview.
