This role is a key management & supporting function in the technology business operations. It revolved around diverse responsibilities of managing and improving Cloud Collaboration Services Operations.
The role evolved around Microsoft Infrastructure support and services along with Team management. i.e. Microsoft Windows Server Operations, Microsoft Email Exchange Platform, Microsoft Active Directory, Skype for Business, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365 etc.
It is a dynamic role which engages in / external stakeholders to provide optimal solutions for ongoing business needs.
Providing 24x7 support to Microsoft core platforms :
o Microsoft Infrastructure Platform
o Microsoft Active Directory Services
o Microsoft Email Exchange 2007 / 2010 / 2013
o Microsoft SQL Server 2012
o Microsoft Skype for Business
Providing 24x7 support to Cloud Collaboration Services operations while managing day-to-day operations i.e. system administration and monitoring and housekeeping of Enterprise IT
Cloud collaboration Services Team Management.
Provide 24x7 support to Microsoft platforms and coordinate with Microsoft premier support for permanent fixture of issues..
Resolving operational issues on the second level or directly to minimize service disruption and ensure service delivery as per agreed SLA with Business
Reporting and communication on the Tasks / project / deliverable.
Ensuring Business Customer satisfaction by resolving complaints within agreed time.
Your Typical day at work :
The person will be responsible to manage work with and through rest of the team members in order to deliver the back-end Office / Enterprise Application Services and other related services to all internal customers.
The person will be responsible to manage Enterprise Application portfolio includes, but not limited to Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, SKB, MOSS, SCCM, SCVMM, SCOM, Forefront suite, and rest of the Microsoft infrastructure platform.
The person will be responsible to act as Level 2 support for End User Computing services.
The person will be responsible to ensure, perform and maintain backups of all IT systems such as to ensure complete recovery of any system / application if required;
also performing regular tests of the backup / recovery process.
Remain available 24 7 for providing technical guidance to IT Support / Help-desk staff or other IT teams regarding all urgent requests related to any of the managed systems and services.
Internal / external stakeholders management & design efficient SLAs
The person will be responsible to participate in renewal of annual support & maintenance contracts.
Delivery of support services through vendor / partners
Eligibility Criteria : Education :
B.E or BS in Electronic / Computer / software Engineering, MS Computer Science.
Microsoft Certification(s) MCSA, MCSE, MCTA
Work experience :
6-8 Years’ experience in relevant fields i.e. Microsoft core platforms
