What is Manager Messaging Product & Growth? Responsible for driving the messaging portfolio services including championing the overall growth.

They manage end-to-end project plan and the messaging strategy with internal and external stakeholders and take the lead on driving effectiveness, discovery and adoption of these solutions in the market.

They are a well-rounded business athlete' - an analytical problem solver, someone who understands what it takes to execute at scale and dynamic people leader in complex cross functional environments.

They develop and maintain high-level of engagement with internal and external stakeholders, leading to exciting opportunities.

They are able to shape a program grounded in solid understanding of global messaging products and local needs / wants thus defining the overall Jazz's messaging opportunities.

They also take the required positive steps to build the case for acquisition and growth strategies both qualitatively (the what' and where' and from who') and quantitatively (the how' and when').

  • They prioritize and manage expectations with internal clients / teams and external vendors. Coordinates with team for the development of digital products in order to decipher customer related issues;
  • ensures timely identification of assets with high growth potential WITHIN the limits of organization's strategy, established practices and policies, organizational SOP's, organization values and directions / guidelines from Supervisor.

    The role reports directly to the Head of Digital Products & Growth. What does Manager Messaging Product & Growth do?

  • Develops, initiates and leads strategic business opportunities with key partners in the Messaging ecosystem, working with product solutions, legal, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders as required.
  • Strategizes and executes a holistic growth plan to accelerate data-driven user acquisition, engagement, and platform business for the Messaging portfolio thus managing the overall customer lifecycle.
  • Develops and informs a POV on the advertising potential and strategy within the messaging portfolio.
  • Owns the creation and results of a prioritized roadmap that balances short term business goals with established long-term vision and strategy in the messaging space (monetization, engagement, acquisition) by conducting research on global best practices and gathering requirements from different departments in Jazz
  • Explores development in global digital mediums to acquire new users and engage existing users and implement them for Jazz Digital Platforms
  • Monitors feedback received from customers using business analytics tools and manage the platform strategy accordingly
  • Dive deep and analyze behavior, usage and consumption data (internal and external) for informed decision-making including collecting industry intelligence and performing competitive analyses thus optimally positioning the content offering for accelerated growth of content services.
  • Manages and oversees operational activities of go to markets for digital channels and platforms using new age marketing techniques focusing on acquisition, engagement and retention of business
  • Prepares guidelines for utilizing engagement tools and reducing churn; Conducts analysis and campaign audits to analyze marketing performance.
  • Focuses on experimentation and A / B testing to drive optimal strategies.
  • Owns the creation and results of a prioritized roadmap that balances short term business goals with established long-term vision and strategy in the messaging space (monetization, engagement, acquisition) by conducting research on global best practices and gathering requirements from different departments in Jazz
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives
  • Evangelize the product internally and externally
  • Communicate with the team and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
  • Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues.
  • Analyzes messaging operations worldwide and selects suitable projects which can be implemented efficiently and effectively at Jazz.
  • Coordinates with Group for expanding operations of VEON across different OPCOs.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports, ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for respective products
  • Adhere to change control procedures, Operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

    Requirements : What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Messaging Product & Growth?

  • Bachelor's in business / Marketing / Analytics with 5+ years of experience with a focus on project / product management.
  • Significant knowledge of the messaging industry and its competitive landscape. Experience with marketing technology industry, especially in the creative or advertising technology or messaging would be an advantage
  • Product / Project management knowledge and experience
