The Role

Humanitarian, climate change and resilience programme team currently implementing different projects across Pakistan. Shaping a stronger Oxfam for people living in poverty through meticulously well-coordinated consultation with the Humanitarian, Climate Change & Resilience team and program partners, value chain development, inclusive business with women economic empowerment and climate change resilience, particularly food and climate justice networks / consortiums and other strategic partners and experts, the programme team is expected to contribute to create an environment where small farmers, especially women are secure and safe livelihoods by asserting their rights.

What we are looking for

  • Promote the vision, mission, and strategic goals of Oxfam and the Pakistan Programme
  • Using a rights-based approach to work and implement project plans and budgets related to climate change and resilience project.
  • To support work of partner’s staff and delegated projects / purposes besides supervising overall work of local partners including day-to-day partner relation management.
  • Problems vary and include a combination of routine and some complex, especially related to partner relation management.
  • Work pattern is a mixture of reactive and project work.
  • Representation of Oxfam in external forums and during monitoring visits with key government stakeholders.
  • Bring the grass root level development concerns and issues and to provide support to partners in managing those concerns
  • Frequent travelling to the project areas for monitoring, concept development and project reviews
  • Consolidate the reports and manages data efficiently
