Role Purpose

To support increasing effectiveness and efficiency of operational delivery of all exam products in cluster / region through implementation and maintenance from business improvement approaches as part of the Global Business improvement strategy.

Main accountabilities

Service delivery

  • Monitors systems and processes closely by understanding the core business functionality by liaising with different Exams SBUs and present ideas for creating efficiencies to Head of BI.
  • Contributes into the development and implementation of Global Business Improvement, corporate or regional change projects and supports the Head BI as an agent of change for the country ensuring embedding in the business and benefits realization.
  • Continuous Improvement

  • Support the ongoing exams transformation programme by assisting relevant teams in different capacities to provide maximum effectiveness and efficiency
  • Identifies areas of improvement in business by understanding the nature of work done by officers and mid-level management of Exams SBU through formal and informal discussions by creating a trust level.
  • Works on agreed business improvement priorities to enable the development of the Business Improvement function
  • Gathers competitor’s information and market trends (related to business improvement) by creating a network and channel for information.
  • Supports the planning and delivery of business changes through processes and systems to the implementation in business in a more effective and efficient way
  • Customers & stakeholders

  • Regularly monitors customer journeys across operations at points of delivery and prepares report for Head BI on areas of improvement
  • Maintains excellent relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders across the country and region, to support an enable improvements in the quality of exams delivery.
  • Develops peer / personal networks within and outside the BC to enhance own knowledge and expertise
  • Risk & compliance

  • Supports the Head BI, Head of Business Assurance and CEM to ensure Exams delivery is compliant with agreed standards and that areas identified for improvement are quickly and fully implemented
  • Through data analysis and process observation identifies risks, shares feedback on the areas of improvement and suggests measures to overcome issues.
  • Continuously monitor the implemented processes on periodic basis and share their dashboards with head BI to assess the impact.
  • Commercial & resource management

  • Shows an understanding of value for money / cost effectiveness in the advice, the needs of external partners / stakeholders / vendors by suggesting actions to the Head Business Improvement.
  • Safeguarding :

  • Escalate safeguarding concern to the National Safeguarding Manager Pakistan.
  • Ensure your behaviour is in line with safeguarding code of conduct with interacting with children and adults
