  • Remunerate employees and compiles payroll information by managing payroll preparation; completing reports; maintaining records.
  • Must be able to adhere to deadlines and should be able to deliver.
  • Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
  • Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department / division transfers.
  • Prepare Journals of payroll at month end and provide the Accounts department to post in accounting software and to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Resolve payroll queries by answering questions (if any).
  • Update payroll data by designing systems, directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
  • Update existing policies and procedures and prepare new (If required).
  • Compliance with HMRC (UK), and legal requirements by applying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Continuous Development and recent changes in legislation should be reviewed including publications, interacting with peers and colleagues.
  • Should be able to keep a track of operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
  • Organize trainings for staff by selecting, orienting systems and policies.
  • Maintains payroll staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Managing Processes, People Management, Data Entry Management, Reporting Skills, Compensation and Wage Structure, Benefits Administration, Worker Compensation, Employment Law, Developing Standards, Financial Skills, Accounting.
  • Skills Required :

  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Good computer skills (Preference will be given to ERP Skills).
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidate having foreign degrees and having UK exposure will be preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient with payroll software for example SAGE Payroll, Brightpay, Staffology etc.
  • Salary Range (Monthly) - 80,000 to 120,000 PKR

    Preference will be given to the right candidates who have previous UK Payroll Knowledge & Experience with Excellent Spoken English Skills"
