The Sales Operations Manager will be the primary point of contact for the Sales Team, HR, legal, Marketing, Audit, Finance and other CHC departments
Responsible to implement & track all key development initiatives pertaining to sales operations
Education & Experienced Requirement
Bachelors / Masters in Marketing / Finance
Minimum 2 years experience in sales operations or regional operations .
Minimum 3 years sales leadership at regional or national level experience .
Strong business & Channels insight
Complete understanding of Route to Market modelling
Basic Financial and P&L understanding
Lead sales MIS, analyze sales data and give crucial input for sales planning.
Ensure implementation of SOPs pertaining to sales & distributions operations.
Ensure that distributor stock cover days are within GSK norms by managing Primary Sales.
Lead implementation, monitoring & reporting of sales, KPIs till Region, Area, Distributor & DSR level through Regional / National Dashboard / Trackers
Validate Sales Data Hygiene & coverage.
Responsible to conduct & execute Regional Sales / Distribution Audits exercises.
Lead GSK Compliance and audit agenda for Sales function.
Ensure timely & accurate reporting of Channel Wise Sales with strong co-ordination of sales team.
Ensure outlet wise sales data capturing through implementation of HHT (hand Held Terminal) at distributor level
Design & implement channel strategy for CHC channels including Wholesale & Rural.
Develop win win situation for trade and CHC by creating programs for mutual growth
Ensure that effective and appropriate promotional support vis a vis samples, giveaways, mailings, POSM, etc are provided / arranged regularly to support sales team in promotion of the assigned products
Maintain familiarity with all competitive products in market; their promotion, positioning, pricing etc
Closely coordinate with Trade Marketing team to ensure complete alignment between brand team, trade category team and field team.
Ensure that adequate product training materials are developed and provided to sales force to enable them to have complete product familiarity and skills required for effective sales efforts
Ensuring all promotional material for campaigns / sales activities are in strict compliance with GSK consumer’s code of ethics
