Their duties would include but are not limited to the following :
Medicine supply to patient :
IT System Management
Accuracy of information : All information you enter into the HMIS should be accurate, appropriate and in accordance with agreed protocols and must maintain all the records of sale and purchase of the stock.
Staff and team meetings are attended as requested.
Staff problems or issues : All staff problems or issues are referred to the pharmacist in first instance.
Audit : Participation in clinical audit as clinical or administrative indication. Participate in quality improvement systems.
Complaints : All complaints to be referred to the Facility Manager / pharmacist in the first instance. If unresolved then you are expected to co-operate with other resolution methods by CCS / Admin.
Privacy Act : Total confidentiality and privacy of patients is maintained.
Health & Safety : Comply with health and safety policies with regard to handling of instruments, storage of drugs and disposal of sharps and other potentially dangerous equipment and substances.
Other Duties : Hours of work are set out in the Employment Agreement, however there may be times when you are required to undertake other duties outside of these hours as requested.
This may involve attendance at meetings, staff meetings or training sessions.
Candela Training : Invoicing shall not start before the Candela Training and command.
Cleanliness : Ensure pharmacy is always well arranged and clean
Inventory Management : Support Chief Pharmacist with all inventory through counting drugs plus supplies.
Preferably Graduation or Intermediate
Experience : 2 - 3 years of work experience in a hospital pharmacy as a pharmacy salesman
