Position at Nakisa
Nakisa is in an exciting growth phase and so is our IT team. As an experienced IT technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of computer workstations and associated hardware and software in the Lahore office.
The successful candidate will also be the main point of contact for all employees experiencing computer-related issues in Lahore and across the globe.

Monitor, Triage and address reported users’ support tickets or escalate the issue to the right IT member
Determine users’ technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions based on IT procedures and policies
Install / troubleshoot hardware, software and device drivers on standalone and domain computers / server.
Manage software configurations to ensure that all networked computers can communicate effectively.
perform user creation / management tasks in active directory, exchange server and etc.
Test computers peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately.
Install and configure monitors, keyboards and printers
Act as a technical resource to assist users with resolving computer issues.
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
Participate in IT departmental projects and tasks and assist other IT teams in major projects
Explain the role of network applications and equipment to the end users.
Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures carried out
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in computer software and hardware troubleshooting
2+ years’ experience on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 and up.
Good working knowledge of Office 365 administrations such as license / user management
Working experience of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Routing and switching
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations
Understanding of IT principles and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
Ability to prioritize the tasks by assessing the requirement’s nature.
Exposure of Atlassian Jira service desk ticketing system
Working experience with System Center configuration manager (SCCM)
