Job Description

  • Ensure availability of cards services 24x7 and minimize scheduled and un-scheduled downtimeTrack the issues for the closures temporarily, permanently and develop preventive measure for non-occurrence
  • Work closely with Vendors to for ensuring availability of cards services
  • Resolve all service tickets, minimize issue resolution TAT and manage escalations
  • Always comply with Internal Audit and Regulatory requirements all the time
  • Manage any system incidents
  • Delivery of small / medium changes
  • Key Result Areas :

  • Lead the projects smoothly by ensuring zero / minimum escalations from business and third party stakeholders
  • Planning and estimating for the project ,keeping the plan up to date
  • Tracking and monitoring the project as per the plan / SLAs agreed with users
  • Provide desired solution for business requirements and ensure minimum defect leakages from requirement(Scope), design, development and testing phases of the project
  • Lead and provide 24x7 support for cards Issuing / Acquiring systems to ensure maximum system availability and stability.
  • System monitoring Ensure all key / high impact areas are monitored. Pro-actively report the issues, analyze and provide solution.
  • Service tickets support Monitor and support service tickets closure as per agreed SLA with root cause analysis and bug fixing if required.
  • Lead the team to resolve complex issues.
  • Identify system improvements and simplify the system complexity.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and make constructive suggestions.
  • Lead the development & support on the compliance mandates.
  • Plan and provide support on PRIME maintenance activities.
  • Build proper backups for the team.
  • Participate in Recruitments and training of new resources
  • Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships

  • Lead the Development with Vendor on business requirements and ensure the effective participation of team for project activities and required deliverables
  • Effective Co-ordination with business and third party stakeholders to manage their expectation
  • Internal functions and work practices as per policy, compliance and procedures of the organization.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team, including, meetings, knowledge transfer and Timesheet reporting, preparation of weekly status report.
  • Production support and maintenance of cards acquiring systems.
  • Co-ordination with users (service call support), datacenter (prod support) and various units for maintenance activities.
  • Internal functions and work practices as per policy, compliance and procedures of the organization.
  • Decision Making Authority & Responsibility

  • Technical decisions. Critical / High impact decisions in consultation with the Line manager.
  • Resource management (hardware / software / personnel) selection of right technology environment.
  • Allocates resources as deems right.
  • Decides training / growth needs.
  • Completions of milestones on time and within the specified (agreed) budget.
  • Requirements

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 5 + years of relevant experience in IT with production & development support experience.
  • Service Experience on Cards systems, especially in managing 24x7 critical systems
  • Thorough cards applications / business knowledge.
  • Thorough knowledge in various applications in Cards domain for both issuing and acquiring
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in EFT Switch, Scheme integrations, analyzing changes for scheme compliance
  • Thorough knowledge on Oracle, PL / SQL, MSSQL
  • Hands-on development and configuration experience on PRIME, PRIME Integration Layer, ONLINE and PRIME ACS
  • Experience on 3DS 2.0 for issuing and acquiring
  • Knowledge on Multiple Programming Languages like Java, .NET, PL / SQL is an advantage
  • Experience working with Network associations, viz Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Amex, Diners
  • Experience on DevOPS is an advantage
