Job Purpose :

Responsible for support of business automation BPM Suite, EDMS iBPS and Java micro services suite of applications. Provide critical L2, L3 support for BPM, EDMS and Java Suite of applications and support strategy of technology by achieving objectives and goals.

Provide ongoing support to for Business automation applications and build monitoring solutions for all platform systems and software infrastructure.

This includes AIX and Linux systems, Oracle databases, applications, and new technologies (Cloud, SOA) . Responsibilities include, doing L2, L3 support, bug fixes, upgrades, patching, monitoring and alerts and provide uninterrupted service by providing high quality of support to Business and Operations

Key Result Areas

  • Manage the team of professionals and vendor resources who are responsible for BPM, EDMS, RPA and business automation platforms support & project deliveries
  • Provide expertise and recommendations in the assessment of initiatives to support and enhance systems
  • Perform appropriate level of stakeholder management across business, technology and clients
  • Ensure projects and initiatives are aligned to and delivered against the business objectives, serve as highest project internal escalation level
  • Leading the team to adhere to project and delivery compliance, ensuring compliance of project delivery to PMO, QMS, risk, audit & architecture guidelines
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with defined quality management practices, to achieve the common banks objectives
  • Interact with management and business and operations stakeholders from various business and support functional areas.
  • Support BPM suite of applications for critical business processes bank wide with 18*6 support across UAE and IBG regions
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical solutions
  • Responsible for BPM Upgrade activities and migrate before EOL application support
  • BPM Suite applications support are most critical application in the bank and bank operation is depended on these applications
  • Ensures stability and uptime of BPM application at 100%.
  • Effectively manage the BPM suite of application in the bank team and responsible for stability, monitoring and control, capacity management and incident management of the most critical application of the bank.
  • Responsible for setup, management, and tools to automate monitoring of platforms
  • Develop dashboards for technology and operation teams
  • Streamline monitoring and alerting across Platforms
  • Craft operations and technical documentation for developed systems and applications
  • Directly or indirectly be responsible for infrastructure, security, audit, risk, incident & SLA management, architecture, human resources including engagement, budget financials & tracking, capacity planning.
  • Contribute effectively to build Center of Excellence.
  • Mentor and supports other team members in BPM and related areas of expertise
  • Communicates effectively, works collaboratively and cooperatively with others
  • Health Check activities of BPM and Application servers
  • Work and interact with security teams on periodic basis and close open observations across the platforms
  • Ensure patching and stability of servers are done on regular basis
  • Focus on regulatory, control & audit requirements and manage all known risks related to team and systems that can affect security of data, system downtime, incidents.
  • Provide leadership and ensure adherence to growing DevOps practice and ensures implementation and operation of DevOps pipelines
  • Manage the release management practice to uphold the organization’s IT change management standards, end ensure deployments, installations, configurations and patches across BPM, EDMS, RPA and microservices applications
  • Provide support to operational teams in the operation of mission critical corporate applications and middleware technology, including integration services.
  • Respond to priority issues impacting service levels.

  • Manage staff and contractors engaged in the provisioning of application services by establishing and managing work priorities and standards
  • Ensure issues are logged and assembled for prioritization, resolution and follow-up
  • Participates in defining parameters for third party service level agreements (SLA).
  • Provide monitoring over SLA performance indicators to ensure compliance requirements established under contractual agreements are met.
  • Ensure technical and SOP documentation is up-to-date and available in electronic format for all applications
  • Participate on regular architecture, development, implementation reviews and support of new and enhanced applications

  • Experienced with IBM WebSphere (version 8 or 9) and IBM BPM
  • Experience with SQL (Oracle, preferred)

  • Ensure that the management is (at all times) informed of all risks, issues and their status. Define / conduct Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Plans for applications under responsible domain Adhere to banks operational risk policy.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders
  • Capable of interpreting data and communicating effectively in both technical and user-friendly language

  • Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
  • Expertise on IBM BPM 8.5.5 / 8.5.7 / 8.6
  • Expertise in IBM BPM tools and Business Process Manager versions 8.0 and above
  • Hands-on experience with business process modeling, simulation and conducting playback sessions using IBM Business Process Designer or Lombardi BPM
  • Experience of participating in large Business Integration efforts and being a member of a project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live
  • Strong understanding on BPMN and BPEL concepts and their application to real life projects
  • Strong Knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, Java, Microservices & open source libraries
  • Expertise on Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring boot , HA Generics and Spring Framework
  • Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
  • Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.

  • 15+ years of experience on IBM BPM / BAW, Blue Prism, RPA, EDMS, and Command center
  • Software development and support experience in financial services
  • Experience with the authoring Environment including BPDs, Teamwork’s Services, Coaches, and Integration Components & Connectors
  • Working knowledge in SQL and PL / SQL with Oracle RDBMS
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to details
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
