The Job

As Senior Software Engineer you will ensure that all allocated projects are coded efficiently with optimum performance. Your ultimate objective is to make sure all works are completed within specified deadlines and to agreed standards.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to :

1. Write, modify, review and test code for new and existing client applications.

2. Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with lead; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes;

investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

3. Optimize and refactor code to attain efficiency and maintain standards

4. Assist in design and implementation of solutions for new and existing client applications.

5. Prepare and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

6. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis.

7. Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities;

reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

8. Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.

The Profile

Ideally you would have a Bachelor in Computer Sciences related degree with at least 5 years’ experience as a software engineer.

You must be able to code complex solutions in .Net and SQL Server, have great enthusiasm and attitude for the role, a high level of resilience and strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence.

Expert in .Net and SQL Server having worked on multiple large-scale web applications.

Understanding and striving to achieve the people values is essential.
