Koch Foods is recruiting a Human Resources Clerk for its production plant located in Morton, MS. Koch Foods is a leading poultry processing company, specializing in quality products and customer service.
A full-time opening is available for a clerk within the Human Resources department day shift. The HR Clerk will provide professional, cordial, and informative assistance to all employees while demonstrating a positive commitment to the company.
In our fast-paced environment, the HR Clerk may perform a variety of duties to include :
Initiate and complete all requirements for new hire orientation and terminations.
Monitor and track employee attendance records ensuring all disciplinary action forms are correct and presented to employees in a timely manner.
Track vacation time and birthdays recording each employee’s record accurately.
Complete requirements to enroll employees into available benefit plans.
Record, complete and e-mail daily staffing report.
Ensure and maintain tracking for the distribution of weekly payroll checks.
Verify and complete wage and employment verification requests.
Assist human resources manager as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of employee files and information.
Enter I9 information into E-Verify, tracking and ensuring accurate completion.
Perform other duties as assigned by the human resources manager.
Requirements for a Human Resources Clerk include :
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
Must be dependable and possess the ability to adjust to change.
Experience in Human Resources preferred.
Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management.
Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and deal with confidential information.
Ability to multi-task and drive multiple projects demonstrating problem-solving, time management, and priority setting skills.
