The opportunity :

TNS is seeking an experienced executive assistant to support several busy senior executives within TNS’ parent organization.

As a gatekeeper and the key source of administrative support for the executive team, being highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently is critical to success in the role.

Core roles :

  • Acting as the primary point of contact and gatekeeper for members of the executive team.
  • Managing calendars, meetings, and associated scheduling of the executive team.
  • Managing, reviewing, and drafting e-mails and written correspondence.
  • Booking, managing, and circulating travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries.
  • Preparing board, shareholder, and committee meeting minutes.
  • Planning, organizing, and managing events.
  • Producing, editing, proofreading, and formatting reports and presentations.
  • Maintenance of financial accounts and banking / transaction records, including review, posting and reconciliation. Loading account / banking transactions in online banking system.
  • Assisting with bank reconciliations.

    Basic qualifications :

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma.
  • Prior work experience as an executive assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
  • Ability to organize a daily workload and balance competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting concepts and procedures.
  • Comfortable familiarity with the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills with a demonstrated ability to be effective in client service and professional settings.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Superb attention to detail and diligence.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
