PS Technical Consultant (Implementation and Development Consultant)

Key Responsibility :

We are looking for a consultant eager to learn new things, attracted by technical challenges and willing to invest in new and challenging environment.

Training will be provided. This role may require travel to worldwide regions.

The PS technical Consultant provides technical deployment expertise and support to both end Clients and our local PS organizations as part of their project implementations activities.

The overall objective is to implement a series of Software Solutions for the monitoring and management of the Customers ATM terminals and provide support for any customizations.

In this role, the consultant will be involved in the deployment of NCR Vision solution which is made of multiple modules and interfaces and provide where required development, customization, and modification in the solution.

As part of the technical project implementation lifecycle, the consultant will conduct / deliver the following :

  • Provide expertise on the deployment and use of the Vision Software suite
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the functional use of the Vision System
  • Provide consultancy to Customer regarding their business rules and helping them in defining incident resolution automation process.
  • Troubleshooting and optimization activities on deployed systems
  • Workshops meetings to gather and document specs and customer requirements
  • System / Customer data gathering for deployment of Vision 4.x
  • Produce Statements of Works, project estimates and delivery documents
  • Liaise with Engineering & Support Teams to deploy SW / patches / fixes etc.
  • Customization of the System Software to fit with the customer requirements : develop parsers / plugins / utilities and implement a series of Software Solutions for the monitoring and management of the Customers ATM terminals.
  • Quality Testing of the newly released product.
  • Project management and coordination.
  • Give Support & Training
  • Basic Qualification

  • BS or MS Degree in a technical discipline
  • Must have +5 years’ experience in requirement analysis, Implementation, technical investigation, and troubleshooting.
  • Must have Advanced level of English language, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ATM Application / Switch Application is an advantage.
  • Hands on experienced with java technologies (groovy, apache tomcat, javascript)
  • Must have the ability to review logs and traces for troubleshooting process.
  • Solid command on Database Structure and schema
  • Solid command on MS SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
  • Excellent command and experience on regular expressions.
  • Liaise with Engineering & Support Teams to deploy SW / patches / fixes etc.
  • Creative, well-organized, resourceful and people oriented.
  • Strong relationship building between internal customers and employees.
  • Able to work flexible hours to support global customer base.

  • Additional Preferred Qualifications :

  • A person with development background willing to move to a dynamic world of Functional Consultancy.
  • Familiar with Operating System settings and configurations.
  • Familiar with MS SQL and Oracle IDE setups and configurations.
  • Familiar with basic Network configurations (firewall rules, ports etc.)
  • Exposure to IIS Configurations.
