Main Purpose The SC Director is responsible for supporting the BU, Bottling partners and JV and Function in the achievement of the AOP via building and sustaining Bottler Making and Delivery capability.
He / She supports the Supply Chain VP in liaising with the Category on global initiatives. He / She supports MUs in achieving their Q&FS targets, Productivity / Sustainability / Capability building, while delivering on Capacity expansion plans.
He / She leads all strategic long term major projects to build a stronger bottler network (Consolidation)
Sets and adopts Vision / Mission / SP for his function and team
Supports BU & Bottling partners in developing and implementing BCPs to address crisis.
Support the BU & Category Team in the Development of the Business Strategy (H2 / H3) :
Formulate a manufacturing / product sourcing strategy.
Develops materials supply strategy.
Build Bottler’s capability.
Active Involvement in the Development and execution of AOP (H1) :
Highlights capacity issues and provide product sourcing options (i.e. capacity expansions, co-packing, importing ...).
Provides input on new initiatives (product, packages) readiness for launch in his MUs.
Provides technical assistance to BU in the development of annual packaging and new product strategy across the countries.
Develops plans for the implementation of new product and package innovation.
Marketing Calendar Execution :
Leads with Bottlers & Suppliers the execution of new package and product initiatives.
Ensures necessary Approved Packaging Materials available for Production.
Provides technical leadership in the Line Qualification of new products and packages, to ensure the incremental volume of new initiatives in the AOP can be delivered.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) :
Be the SME on Suppliers capabilities, capacities, packaging cost and specifications.
Provides project management and consulting for field packaging projects and activities.
Provides functional expertise and leadership on assigned task forces.
Manages and leverages global external resources and suppliers.
Maintains a full Database of Supplier, Capacities, Product specifications, Technologies.
Maintains a full Database of Bottlers, Packaging material specs, drawings & Supplier used by bottler.
Transfer and Build Operating Capability :
Deploys operation resources to build bottler making and delivery operating capability, through availing Best Practice Tools available and providing "Train the Trainer" support to the bottling operation.
Coordinates with the Sector / BU Functional SME the implementation of Best Practice Operation tools to Franchise Units to enhance the bottlers' capability to run effectively and efficiently their operation.
Builds the leadership and technical capabilities of his / her direct reports to ensure the on time delivery of all PSP innovations and AOP plans.
Supports bottlers in the development and implementation of short / medium / long terms productivity initiatives to mitigate commodity inflations and currency devaluation to be able to deliver their P&L.
Ensures that all project execution meet PI Quality and Food Safety standards.
Develops and implements regular meetings with bottlers' Technical team where a specific project will be executed to track progress, CPS, milestones, and ensure on time execution.
Vendor / Supplier Development :
Works with the BU team in liaising with the Regional functional resources in the development and qualification of local vendors / suppliers.
Assists the Regional functional resources in the introduction of new technologies.
Liaises with Region to support the implementation of Packaging BPT at the supplier level.
Provides technical leadership in resolving packaging quality issues.
Ensures Packaging printing is in compliance with PI guidelines.
Understands and Implements OFAC and Sanction Markets Mandates and Prerequisites.
Qualifications / Requirements

BS in Engineering
12-15 years of experience in an operating environment.
Excellent knowledge of Beverage manufacturing.
