The expert will undertake the following tasks :
Collaborate with other team members and help team leader / deputy team leader to develop a detailed work plan and implementation schedule for the Consultant and his role in the project..
Assist the team in Civil design reviews including but not limited to foundations and structures.
Assist International procurement specialist in technical and financial evaluation of bids by contributing preparation of draft Technical Bid evaluation report (TBER) and Financial Bid Evaluation Report (FBER) in accordance with ADB's procurement guidelines.
Monitor, evaluate and report on the work of the EPC contractor on the project, and the contractors of remedial works, to ensure adherence to their contract.
Civil works of the projects and ensure adherence to project safety plan and quality assurance plan.
Liaise with and facilitate HSE compliance for the Consultant team to ensure safety and security on site and ensure Consultant plans and associated reports and QA documents are kept up to date and relevant, disseminating such to the team.
Carry out trainings and inspections as appropriate to the stage of the Works.
In liaison with the International and Local Deputy Team Leaders, manage the construction team on site
The expert should have Bachelors or higher degree in Civil engineering

Desirable would be at least 10 years in design of power plants which preferably include at least 2 Super Critical Coal-
fired power plants with at least 600MW capacity.

The expert should preferably have previous experience in developing countries in the region
