Currently we are looking for manager accounts and tax. An ideal candidate (ACCA Member / CA with Articles) should have 3 years’ experience in an accounting practice;
we are looking for someone who has a good eye for detail and the following attributes :
Practical knowledge IFRS preferably of UK GAAP and FRS102;
Practical Knowledge of UK Taxation is preferred;
Experience of preparation of companies’ financial statements and annual accounts for owner managed businesses;
Experienced in using accounting software; CCH Accounts Production, Xero, Quick Books and Sage.
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Efficient, honest, punctual and hard working.
Job responsibilities include the following :
Preparation of accounts for clients including small and medium sized privately owned limited companies, LLP’s, partnerships and sole traders
Preparation of tax computations and completing self-assessment tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Liaison with clients including but not limited to provision of advice on VAT, bookkeeping, taxation and related matters
Liaising with HMRC and other regulatory bodies
Providing in house support and training to other staff members
Education and Experience :
ACCA Member with relevant experience in audit and accounts
UK based experience required (Minimum 3 years in a UK practice in managerial role)
Excellent proficiency in English language
