We are looking for someone you possess good strategic and planning skills to develop training programs that meet the organizational needs required to develop a world class sales team.

We require someone who can review current skills and assess the skills required to meet future business goals. They agree an overall training and development strategy with senior executives and prepare plans to meet the needs of sales teams and sales individuals including but not limited to performance coaching, performance management, classroom training and more.

The individual is expected to comprehend the sales needs of the organization planning and strategizing accordingly. Along with this the candidate will have to go through the entire product and service offering along with company processes in order to gain the ability to train the rest of the team and act as a Subject Matter Expert to help the entire team.

To ensure that programs meet their objectives, the trainer must maintain and analyse training records. They also analyse feedback from trainees to ensure that they are satisfied with the quality of training.

If they identify problems or lack of progress against objectives, they adjust training programs. This role requires continuous liaison with the team and management offshore.

The expected individual must posses prior sales experience for offshore business, experience for the UK will be preferred.

Soft Skills -Devise programs that increase aggregate department sales. -Act as a mentor to the sales teams teaching effective sales skills for improved individual and team performance.

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.
  • On board new products and devise training plans to ensure team performance as expected -Attend meetings on sales targets and performance, give valuable input.
  • Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations. -Deploy a wide variety of training methods -Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development. -Organize classroom-style seminars about product features and sales techniques.
  • Conduct role-playing activities to develop interpersonal skills (e.g., negotiation, teamwork, and convincing skills) -Identify individual and team skills gaps.
  • Schedule regular training sessions (e.g. monthly or quarterly) -Coordinate mentorship programs for new sales representatives -Assess the impact of each educational course on staff performance and client satisfaction -Maintain updated records of training curriculum and material.
