This role can be located in metro areas within the Northwest part of the US.

The Reliability Engineer provides direction, oversight, and support for productivity / efficiency and plant performance improvements across our plant network.

This position will work closely with our Leader of Continuous Improvement / Operations Division Leadership / and Plant Management.

This position will support the company’s process development, design, implementation and operational optimization efforts and be involved and instrumental in providing direction and assistance to driving operational efficiency improvements.

Partner with the Plants to establish a Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss culture in Maintenance, consistent with our excellence system.

Analyze reliability data : point- and trend-, being able to spot and capitalize on reliability opportunities

Primary support in development and implementation of TPM ATM and PM pillars

  • Lead the plants to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence (priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact) through application and teaching through proficiency common problem-solving tools : BDA;
  • PDCA : Y-Y; Fishbone; FMEA; RCM

    Work as a team member and as support to diverse customers in operations and with external vendors to eliminate electro-mechanical failure

    Ideal candidates will have the following :

    Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering and / or Maintenance field with direct experience in leading and engaging technicians with equipment modifications and improvements

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Field

    Ability to demonstrate asset care life cycle management from break-down to predictive maintenance

    Knowledge of process engineering fundamentals

    Knowledge of, understanding of, and passion for continuous improvement methodologies.

    Proven problem-solving skills to include PDCA / DMAIC-based A3 with both do’ and teach’ ability

    Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or American Society for Quality Certified Reliability Engineer (ASQ CRE) is preferred.
