About the Role :
The role will be responsible to build credibility with divisional stakeholders and create HR alignment with the business in order to add value and help produce better business results by enabling business leaders in developing a high-performance culture utilizing HR processes, frameworks and interventions.
This includes giving personalized attention to developing talent / leadership pipelines and managing change in the organization.
This role also requires the incumbent to direct, coach and lead the team of HR business partners to ensure that they undertake their responsibilities effectively and within assigned parameters for their respective areas.
Your Impactful Goals will include :
Strategic thinking : Translate business strategy into HR strategy, action plans and support its execution within the respective division.
Support business leaders on HR program advocacy; communicating the business value of HR initiatives, managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption and solve significant people and cultural issues.
Help drive change, growth and collaborative mindset across the division and ensure adherence to Telenor Behaviors.
Develop and sustain a high performance strength based culture through the use of Telenor tools and processes.
Advise on modern and optimal organizational structures ensuring long term viability, flexibility and sustainability towards delivering organization strategy and objectives.
Actively support team’s development and build collaboration by engaging with other departments in HR.
Manage and lead the HRBP team to deliver on the divisional people strategy.
How will your Typical Day look like :
Work closely with the team of HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to develop and implement HR solutions as per business requirements.
Maintain close liaison with the divisional and extended management and be a trustworthy advisor on people related matters.
Manage and effectively lead HR work steam on transformation and change initiatives in the organization.
Maintain visibility and control over headcount development and personnel cost in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
Identify potential risks and mitigation plans.
Coach / Supervise HRBP team to embed and practice good management in line with the Telenor Behaviors, and lead by example in their divisions.

What we're looking for :
Education : Bachelors or Masters degree. Specialization in related field preferred.
Work experience :
Good experience in the domain of HR, both generalist and specialized functions.
Experience of working in a fast paced multinational environment.

Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas :
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven partnership and influencing abilities with senior stakeholders.
Good knowledge of Telecom value chain will be a plus.
Ability to analyze complex situations and come up with effective solutions to problems at divisional level.
In depth knowledge of change management and working knowledge of innovative organizational design approaches.
Ability to gain and combine personal and people insight with business insight to add strategic value.
Ability to act as a coach to its direct & in-direct reportees & stakeholders
