About the Role :

As a Cyber Risk Analyst, you will be working in the Cyber Security Domain reporting into the CISO.

The suitable candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership, influence, collaborate, liaise and be the POC (Point of Contract) for initiatives related to Technology Risk Management.

The role includes (not limited to) breaking down, estimating and prioritizing work. As a CRO, you will collaborate and work with all colleagues spanning from Senior Stakeholders, Engineer and Product Managers and Business leaders.

Leveraging your strong technical background and knowledge, the expectation is to be able to facilitate decision making, judgment, challenging stakeholders (in a collaborative manner), resolving constraints and enable high quality on program execution and delivery.

What will keep you busy :

  • Board level reporting to Uber and Careem Security LT on programme delivery metrics and KPIs
  • Manage large scale security transformation programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery.
  • Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve security organisation productivity.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.
  • Key Accountabilities :

  • Manage technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery.
  • Exercise technical judgment in working with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.
  • What you'll need :

  • Experience in managing large scale security transformation programmes
  • Experience working in mature organisations but also startups
  • Experience managing execution and high quality product delivery.
  • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
  • Proven work experience program managing software development
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies, tools and processes
  • Demonstrated ability or preference to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive program plans and schedules
  • Hands-on experience with Prioritization and issue management
  • Proven record on facilitating decision making and judgment
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development process
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management on technical cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the region in an Information Security organisation
  • Ability to exercise technical judgment in solving software engineering challenges.
  • Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
