Main Purpose of the Job
A Communications Professional in charge of the Communications function in a Market Company (small), and with guidance from the Communications Cluster Leader, defines the Market Company’s communications strategy, plan and budget to support the Market Company’s business priorities in alignment with Cluster communications strategy.
Has solid competence in a core communications discipline with track record of success and demonstrates the ability to engage in Cluster matters where and when necessary.
Work closely with other the EMEA Region Internal Communications Director and other Communications Business Partners to ensure coordination and alignment of messages, plans and activities
Plan, lead and execute major region and market internal and external events - which will be done in alignment with the Region Communications Directors and Communications Managers
Setting, communicating & maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
Plan event from start to finish according to budgets, requirements, target audience and objectives
Manage, resource and negotiate with vendors and suppliers as relevant
Develop reports and analyse events’ successes and learnings
Education and Experience :
University Degree preferably in Communications / Marketing / Business or similar
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in communications and events management
Experience in working with board level senior managers
Fluent both in written and spoken English; knowledge of any other language is an advantage
Ability to operate independently
Relationship and organizational savvy
Proven experience as event and project management
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
Excellent organizational skills and a knack for problem-solving
A team player with leadership skills
