Job Description :
Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates threats to internal information technology (IT) systems and / or networks.
Investigates cybersecurity events or crimes related to information technology (IT) systems, networks, and digital evidence.
Administer and maintain security systems associated with the preventative, detective, and corrective security controls.
Performing breach and attack simulations and penetration tests to identify and detect possible risks.
Work closely with application developers and system administrators to deliver creative solutions to complex technology challenges and business requirements
Design, implement, and support solutions with Microsoft security technologies - Azure Cloud Access Security Broker, O365 ATP, Microsoft Defender ATP, AIP, Intune, and the integrations.
Continually evaluate new threats to identify the impact on Business and IT and develop and implement security controls.
Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause as part of the incident response.
Consistent & Timely Patching -Evaluate Patches, Test the patches, deploy patches and verify patches
Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
Maintain IT assets with established IT security standards.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills :
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge : A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is needed for this position.
Additionally, a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in a similar position and industry security certifications like Comptia Security +, Microsoft MS 500, AZ 500 can be helpful.
Job-Specific Skills :
Skill in conducting vulnerability scans and recognizing vulnerabilities in security systems.
Skill in using network analysis tools to identify vulnerabilities.
Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Experience and knowledge of Azure M365 & Microsoft cloud security.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and organizational requirements
Excellent verbal & Written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
