Stop & Shop is seeking Assistant Store Managers throughout the Long Island area!

Assistant Store Managers have a significant impact on delivering our promise of a streamlined, personalized shopping experience for our customers.

To achieve this goal Assistant Store Managers will use their strong communication and interpersonal skills to welcome and offer personalized service to our customers.

Additionally Assistant Store Mangers ensure the proper merchandising of our shelves and displays, the motivating, coaching and collaboration of our associates and for the sanitation and safety of their store.

Though Assistant Store Managers focus on one area of store operations, i.e. Perishables, Non-Perishable and Customer Service (front end operations) all Assistant Store Managers are responsible for total sales, profitability and performance of their store.

    Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications :

  • Track record of providing outstanding customer service;
  • Exceptional leadership skills with 2 4 years’ experience in management;
  • Knowledge of safe food handling;
  • And a willingness to travel within core market areas.
