Our growing company is seeking an experienced Financial professional with global accounting experience. Reporting to North America VP of Finance, your primary objective will be :

  • To provide assistance for the betterment of the global entities and improving their departmental reporting process. This will involve providing the business managers with their operational budget to actuals, and on a regular basis coordinating the budget process at department and entity levels.
  • You will become very knowledgeable with the business financials and will be a key stakeholder providing support to the VP Finance in the creation of financial forecasts.

  • To assist members of the accounting team in their daily activities
  • To successfully run the accounting system.
  • The successful candidate will be comfortable with handling data and creating custom reports (excel, Great Plain, Microsoft)


  • Provide assistance in the accounting operations of some foreign subsidiaries and its procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate month-end and year-end closing process, including consolidation of foreign subsidiaries.
  • Implement new systems including expense reporting, time-sheet and integrate additional modules and functionalities with in-
  • house financial applications.

  • Provide guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues.
  • Take charge of the financial system by designing and maintaining reports as well as offering ongoing support.
  • Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting and procedural standards.
  • Ensure proper sales, income taxes and other regulatory requirements are met on timely basis for some foreign subsidiaries.
  • Report to headquarter the required financial information, procedures, necessary documentation, projects scope and other relevant information on a regular basis
  • Qualifications

  • Qualified member of ACCA preferred
  • Technically strong knowledge of GAAP / IFRS
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related experience
  • Process and project oriented
  • Ability to propose and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Good English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Assets

  • Software industry experience
  • System implementation
  • Creation of asset and reporting, Microsoft
  • Great Plain experience a plus
