Rapid Innovation is recruiting for a Manager to join our ERM / Regulatory Compliance team established in Karachi, Pakistan.
You will be responsible to serve our clients as part of our teams across MENA offices excluding Pakistan both in an onshore and offshore model.
Your key responsibilities
As Manager, you will be required to work effectively as a team member, draw on your knowledge and experience to solve complex issues and support the MENA local Partner(s) and build relationships with MENA internal clients and peers.

Whether it is working with multiple client teams, advising the clients on internal audit, or assisting executives with business development activities across various sectors, you will build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your MENA clients.
You will participate in MENA engagements, working effectively as a team member, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
You will assist in client service delivery, participate in all assigned tasks, and assist in preparing reports that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
Understand how key enterprise level risks and controls impact the organization and able to conduct a comprehensive organization wide risk assessments as well as unit-specific risk assessments, and other risk exercises to identify enterprise risk and opportunity and to build out effective systems of control to optimize values and minimized risk exposure
Support in the development and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for clients
Understand detailed risk & control assessments to identify and prioritize key organizational risks to develop organization wide risk registers
Able to deliver quantitative analysis related to the operational and strategic risks
Prepare high quality reports relating to the ERM Programs and regulatory reviews
Able to advise risk owners on developing strategies and emergent risk and extend risk principles within the strategic planning process and within the development and monitoring of strategic initiatives
Knowledgeable about core enterprise risk management tools and measurement methodologies for risk monitoring
Able to develop risk based regulatory compliance audit plans
Plan, supervise and execute regulatory compliance audits
Prepare and present high-quality regulatory compliance reports
Prepare and finalize the presentations and other deliverables for executive management and Board / Management Committees.
Responsible for the delivery of ERM and Regulatory compliance projects within Financial Services as per client needs.
Keeping up to date with current trends from the region and from across the world.
Support in coaching, training and mentoring of junior staff.
Developing yourself personally, taking a keen interest in trends in Financial Services for ERM and regulatory compliance
Working with colleagues in all Middle Eastern offices on MENA engagements and internal initiatives as well as with international teams where appropriate

To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, accounting, or finance.
7+ years of relevant experience of working in ERM / Compliance for a public accounting firm, professional services firm preferable in financial services sector
Relevant experience areas include, but not limited to, comprehensive risk assessment and compliance audit planning, developing risk registers, executing compliance audits, ERM & compliance reporting and meetings with stakeholders etc.
Fluent English communication skills
Strong verbal and written communication with out of box thinking abilities.
Proficient in MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Data Analytics

ACCA / CA / CFA / FRM / ERM Charter Holder is essential for long-term growth in the role; Based on an individual’s professional background, area of specialization or industry focus, we recognize that other certifications, credentials or experience may be more relevant than the listed certifications and therefore may be acceptable.
Experience working in a similar role with an international consulting firm
