General Job Goals
The person is responsible for taking part in managing a project. The role entails planning to maximize efficiency of development activities while ensuring timely high quality execution of projects.
The person should have a clear view on project activities and day to day issues. Relevant activities may include planning, steering, decision making and controlling matters that arise within a software project.
The person may lead team meetings, record / report status, make decisions based on clear justification considering different scenarios including budget, resource, technical and risk assessment, and mitigation.
Collaborate with technical teams to create / update work breakdown and timeline. Prioritize tasks in the project and enable task execution.
Track project KPIs and maintain progress using tools (JIRA, Excel, Wiki, MS project).Update relevant JIRA tickets to reflect latest status of updates.
Challenge and lead decision making for a project.Cooperate with technical team members and leads to understand project issues and help to identify solutions.
Foresee and highlight hurdles in advance and resolve matters between teams / sites.
Provide updates to other managers, program responsible and other teams.Prepare reports on project activity status.Obtain direction from supervisor and program lead on priorities and give feedback.
Coordinate project and resources with teams in other projects or sites.Review deliverables and execute gate reviews.
Good English communication skills in speaking and writingTypically, 3-5 years relevant experience of Project Management
