Roles and Responsibilities :
Pakistan Data Centre currently processing daily end of day and related processes for core banking and allied applications including housekeeping, backups etc.2.
Data Centre is manned 24 x 7 including all Sundays and holidays.
This is done by rotating staff in Day and Night shifts.3.
Monitoring of infrastructure and systems, critical application connectivity, ATM, CDM, is also part of Data centre's routine.4.
Ensure that systems are available, during agreed service hours in relation with activities to perform after business hours and to complete before system handover for next business day.5.
All related reports, downloads, and other updates to deliver timely to concerned departments / units in accordance with schedule and agreed service level agreement6.
End to end service delivery, shift activities, and communications to business and operations.7.
All routine jobs including End of Day, End of Month and End of Year processes activities are carried out as per defined process checklist within agreed service hours.8.
To ensure that all systems backups are taken as per schedule and logs are checked and maintained properly.9.
To ensure that all system backup and restorations at DR site are conducted as per schedule and within given time.10.
Media policy to follow for handling, transporting to off site location, retention & secure management of backup tapes.11.
ORF, KPI and KRI must maintained and audit risk items to be addressed timely.12.
All routine reports and downloads dispatched to units / departments within allocated time and as per process defined into daily checklist.13.
Data Centre physical and environmental security must be followed with reference of Group Information Security policy (GIS) to compliance.
Key Roles and Responsibilities 1.
Ensure that the environment condition and requirement for the hardware and allied equipments and structure are met in accordance with recommended specifications as per SCB Global Engineering Guidelines.2.
Information security policy to be compiled for all DC physical and system security and compliance.3.
All critical and sensitive documents, keys must be kept into fire proof safe.4.
Closely monitor change management to determine impact of proposed change in hardware or software into system and service to user.5.
Timely escalate system related problem when observed to certain levels as per problem escalation matrix.
Assist support staff to diagnose and re-solve problems.
Highlight risk accordingly if observed any non compliance issue with reference of KCSA.7.
Timely respond upon all periodic group related information and updates.8.
Control Procedure manual (CPM) to revisit periodically with upgrade version as per new activities / application processes including into process with controls involve into BCP / DR as and when scheduled.
