Knowledge and Learning Coordinator will be part of Programme Quality team and will directly report to Country MEAL Manager.
PQ team lead the country programme in increasing Oxfam’s programme impact and strengthening programme quality by working closely with both organisations that we work in partnership with and Oxfam management and teams across the organisation.
During phaseout, PQ is focused on legacy knowledge generation and documenting key learnings, based on Phase-out Learning framework.
Team further included MEL Coordinator and Information & Evidence Management Officer. This position holder will also closely work with Pillar and Project managers.
The core purpose of this position is to strengthen the knowledge management function during phaseout, ensure documentation and timely completion of all learnings activities (Special studies, learning reviews etc) planned, as part of the legacy plan and Phaseout learning framework.
This position will provide critical support to all programmes and projects of Oxfam to ensure timely implementation of project learning reviews, hiring of relevant consultants and compilation of high-quality reports as agreed with MEAL and pilar Managers.
This position will ensure that relevant legacy learning work is properly planned and timely implemented. In addition, Besides programmatic phaseout learning, this position will also exclusively focus on the documentation of key learnings in Creating spaces (CS) and Employment for youth(EYW) projects, under Gender Justice program.
The learning Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of MEAL Manager, and in close coordination with Pillar managers.
What we are looking for
Over 5 years’ experience of working with social sector in knowledge generation and management
Familiarity with change processes of an organization
Proven experience of conducting learning reviews, developing good quality reports and management of consultancies
Thematic knowledge on programme areas that are priority for Oxfam (Gender Justice, Governance, Humanitarian, Climate Change, WASH, Education) in contexts of monitoring and evaluation of such projects
Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse background and culture
Strong relationship building, influencing with ability to liaise with key stakeholders on project related matters
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation, influencing and capacity building
Diverse, innovative and complex problem-solving, requiring professional knowledge field experience and an understanding of development and work and inter-linkages.
