JOB PURPOSE

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts / customers / stakeholders and maximising growth / sales opportunities within them

To achieve success it is critical that the Specialty Key account manager

  • Specialty Care Business Management

  • KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Specialty Care Business Management :

  • Achieve assigned business objectives for the territories / accounts
  • Develop competitive intel, along with a deep understanding of assigned territories / accounts, including major payers and reimbursement initiatives
  • Identify geographic account based opportunities and barriers to ensure company success
  • Work to ensure cross-functional alignment of key strategies and tactics, and ensure effective communication and implementation at the territory / account level
  • Work closely with medical team in organizing the disease awareness programs
  • Exercise sound judgment and ensure integrity and compliance with company policies in all activities and communications
  • Work closely with distributor in getting the NOC and to ensure credible & timely supply of medicines to patients
  • Help in simplifying patient’s journey by helping / guiding / facilitating in funds approval process from Govt / Pakistan Bait ul mal / NGO / Philanthropists
  • After registration of products, ensures product acceptance to assigned hospital accounts by establishing credibility with key hospital stakeholders, performing timely formulary review for products, expediting formulary acceptance of product, implementing effective plans for product pull-
  • through, and organizing in-services to communicate appropriate approved product information to appropriate hospital personnel on all shifts

    Contribute to Strategic Business Strategy :

  • Participate in Business and cross-functional initiatives
  • Gains market / accounts insights, opinions and feedback and engages with internal colleagues to connect business opportunities with internal resources
  • Mentoring and Project Management Activities :

  • Generate new ideas and constantly searches for novel applications of development plan strategies and tactics
  • Fosters teamwork within the area to achieve strategic objectives
  • Encourage an environment leading positive performance among colleagues and internal customers, and supports both individual and overall program success
  • Assist management with development and implementation of strategic plans and objectives; able to assist with administrative aspects of medico marketing activities
  • Maintain high level of commitment with KOL

  • Identify and develop strong relationship with KOLs
  • Develop KOL engagement plan in collaboration with Medical and Public affairs dept
  • Constantly engage with KOLs through
  • Face to face meetings
  • Scientific activities in collaboration with medical dept.
  • Access solution
  • Report KOL queries to medical and keep the stakeholders updated
  • Maintain Compliance

  • Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company

  • Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

  • SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Medical Graduate MBBS / Pharm D / B Pharm
  • 2 3 years of experience as a field MSL / KAM in specialty care Experience
  • Self-initiation, proactive, self-motivated, driven
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical appraisal skills with ability to interpret and present complex clinical data in a clear manner to a variety of audiences
  • Works and champions ideas
  • Broad and in-depth knowledge of super speciality medicines either through clinical practice and / or industry roles
  • Proven relationship building skills with key opinion leaders
  • High proficiency level in English, both in oral and in written communications
  • Knowledge of commercialization and business practices
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Drug Safety
  • Comfortable with extensive travel
  • Business Acumen and entrepreneurial traits
  • Works effectively in cross-functional teams
