WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Tunnl is seeking an Operations Analyst to support and help build our growing, dynamic team. We are seeking someone with at least 2 years of professional experience, with a passion for process, organization, and numbers.
The Operations team is responsible for ensuring the entire Tunnl team has what they need to be successful each and every day.
The Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting critical financial and reporting functions for the company. The Operations Analyst will play an important role on a small, but essential team.
The ideal candidate must be adaptable and able to intelligently prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they must be curious, hard-working and entrepreneurial.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Specifically, the Operations Analyst will be tasked with the following :
Coordinating client onboarding across the Operations and Accounting teams
Reconciliation of costs and budgets across projects and departments
Managing employee expense reimbursement process
Producing reports and data visualizations on a regular cadence to provide insight into company finance KPIs
Maintaining cost management reporting on key cloud computing services and become subject matter expert
Monitor funds center commitment, obligations, expenses and disbursements billing processes.
Compare obligations and expenditures to identify over- or under-obligation rates.
Coordinate with division personnel in functional offices to obtain and convey information about budget and execution status within established time limits.
Produce electronic budget planning and execution reports.
Communicate scheduled budget report updates via PowerPoint presentations to executive leadership
Monitor written, verbal, and electronic correspondence and inquiries relating to budget issues.
Perform all associated budget information gathering, reporting and submission functions.
Track invoices to ensure that all bills that have not yet posted are accounted for.
Retrieve, analyze, and prepare status reports on current and prior fiscal year financial data for assigned program / project and organizational funds as requested.
Conduct reviews of assigned department funding to ensure funds execution.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
2+ years in Accounting or Finance related position
Strong practical mathematical and analytical skills
Expert level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Strong written and verbal organizational communication skills
Expert attention to detail
WHAT WE WOULD LOVE YOU TO HAVE
Prior experience managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable preferred
Proficiency using data visualization tools such as : Tableau or Power BI
Experience working with project management software such as : Monday, JIRA, Asana, Trello, etc.
