Job PurposeJob Purpose : To achieve agreed sales revenue targets by developing and maintaining an effective professional liaisons with all trade partners, incentive houses, associations and the various stakeholders in these segments.

Goal to position Dubai as a global destination and work with the various stakeholders to increase 3rd / 4th freedom traffic flows in these segments.

Job Outline : - Maintain and develop relationships with all potential travel agents, corporate accounts, and associations to develop and maximize all revenue opportunities which includes existing revenue and new revenue potential.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the various stakeholders / Associations such as Consolidators, TMC’s, BTA’s, SME’s, Retailors, Non-IATA’s and Tourism Offices in order to maintain Emirates as a leading carrier in all segments with a global reach.
  • Follow directives and assist Sales Manager in all assigned task and station objective and duly keep him informed about market information any position changes importantly financial health of accounts which could impact EK.
  • Work closely with the commercial team, the channel- and regional sales manager to manage strategic accounts and ensure that business opportunities are shared across territories with the respective colleagues to be matured and well taken care off.
  • Maintain a minimum average weekly call rate to existing and new customer base based on revenue portfolio and account needs as agreed with the Sales Manager South PK.
  • Update the weekly sales plan in and report outcomes / actions of the sales calls in the system. - Develop and implement the agreed marketing and sales plans with all Key Accounts and build multidimensional sales bank with EK monopolistic routes / capacity and create more avenues to resist stereo type business and dependency.

  • Closely monitor revenue results and account potential and recommend and implement actions as necessary to maximize or balance revenue with reference to any deal or incentive already in place (if any).
  • Negotiate and put forward incentive and discount agreements for selected accounts, implement the contract and assess effectiveness.
  • Generate sales leads for all category of accounts incusing IATA, non-IATA, Go-Lite and Corporate by using the various business intelligence tools, sales visits, trade intelligence and convert them into permanent productive accounts.
  • Maintain and share database of all such accounts in . - Actively monitor, investigate, and report competitor activity within the territory and consider EK response in coordination with local sales team and management.

  • Make sure to update and request Emirates presence / participation in all prospect events with the approval of management and create leads and relations beneficial for company.
  • Must be presentable with a professional approach towards work covering external and internal customers. Also be available with the provided resources.
  • Qualifications & ExperienceExperience : Commercial / Sales.Other : 5+ Years. Qualification : Degree or Honours (12 or equivalent).

    Knowledge / Skills : Experience in all aspects of the airline / travel trade sales environment.Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively at all levels.

    Knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel and Power Point.Fluent spoken and written English.Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant, outgoing personality.
