Associate User Experience Designer

Years of Experience : 2-10 years of experience (we have multiple openings at various levels of seniority)

Job Description and Desired Candidate Profile :

We are looking for Product Designers at various levels of seniority ranging from Associate Product Designer to Senior Product Designer (Team Lead) who will be responsible to design user experience of our scalable web applications.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

The ideal candidates like to think outside the box, are interested in constantly improving themselves and their team by education and feedback.

They love tackling new problems, deploying frequently, thinking on their feet and coming up with new ideas.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Extraordinary research skills to come up with the most optimum experience design for the

potential user.

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with key stakeholder.

Synthesize user research findings by creating storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

Conceptualize original user centric ideas that bring simplicity to complex design roadblocks.

Effectively communicate your design ideas through sketches, wireframes and lo fidelity prototypes.

Incorporate user centered design process and design hi fidelity UI prototypes for developer hand off.

Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities, timely and efficiently, in a fast-paced agile environment.

Present and defend designs to peers and executive stakeholders.

Conduct and evaluate user testing.

Apply design thinking to constantly innovate, and design user centered solutions that do not compromise on human experience.

Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders including Product Managers and Engineers to design and launch products and features.

Requirements

2-7 years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, user interface designer, information architect, UX researcher or similar role is preferred.

Please note that since we hiring at various levels, we will decide the role based on the person’s strengths, attitude, experience and career ambitions.

Educational background in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, UX design or related fields is preferred or equivalent practical experience in the field.

Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio

Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to human-computer interaction

Solid experience in creating wireframes, user flows, process flows.

Proficiency in design and wire framing tools, particularly Adobe XD and Balsamiq.

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.

Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
