Job Description :
The Business Analytics Team Lead is a seasoned, respected operator a person that understands the past, present and future of the business.
The Lead guides and directs the team towards our highest-level strategic objectives (being a global analytics leader) while creating the environment for high-quality, creative, and industry-leading analytic work product.
The Lead will also apply significant experience and business acumen to address business challenges by incorporating the business context to design and develop solutions that leverage statistical & advanced analytics methodologies
Actively structure and guide work, utilizing agile practices
Lead client conversations and develop deep understanding of the nature of work to share new ideas and opportunities
Lead analytic engagements end to end, and ensure quality, maintain task tracker and have clear cadence on deliverables
Define success criteria before projects begin, measure along the way, and chart a path for future improvements
Utilize analytical skill and business experience to surface accurate and compelling insights. Craft well-researched whitepapers, presentations and business cases
Manage, shepherd and cultivate a high-performing team of diverse skillsets, viewpoints and backgrounds. You’ll help team members, and the broader i2c community, develop their careers
Communicate with the cross-functional team and management manage stakeholder expectations, broadcast insights, charter squads from teams around the company
Guide the team to develop tools and solutions that are business intuitive and execution friendly
Provide consultative thought leadership to business heads and help them sharpen their strategies by way of implementing analytical models to realize the business objectives
Provide input into the data strategy to ensure better integration of the company’s data asset and analytic capability
Guide and execute compelling and industry leading analytics which are regularly presented in internal and external forums
Developed a deep understanding of customer needs and use-cases overall, and in the domain of analytics specifically
Enable and demonstrate innovative thinking and inspire innovative action
Performs general technical trouble shooting and gives consultation to development teams
Interfaces with vendors for technical support
Evaluates new features and products related to database
We are looking for
Masters, or Bachelors with equivalent experience
10+ years relevant experience
Skills :
A strategic thinker with a strong business and technical acumen. More than delivering, you aim to drive the business forward
Fluency with data, analytics, and visualization technologies (SQL, MicroStrategy, R, etc.)
Experience with predictive modeling, churn analysis, time series forecasting, computer vision, text mining, recommender systems, market basket analysis, segmentation
Experience with machine learning
Understand the payments and / or retail banking industry
Background in management consulting
Demonstrate the knowledge, skills and abilities concerning global business fundamentals, business models, ethics, competitive analysis and cross-cultural / geographical sensitivities / li>
Excellent project / program management skills and have experience managing multiple work streams and projects at one time
Excellent with Excel and PowerPoint
Able to communicate clearly with the analytics community, the business community and senior leadership / executives
A practiced storyteller, with a knack for communicating concepts in presentations
Be equally good with understanding of analytical models and solutions as also with business execution to drive action and realize growth
You demonstrate excellent critical thinking, and you dig in and follow through exploring, investigating and developing hypotheses
Your natural curiosity, leadership and dedication allows you to pinpoint opportunities that fuel client and i2c growth
