UX Designer Intern:

Do you have an eye for good design and are passionate about creating beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces? Are you looking to kickstart your career with a 4-weeks internship in design?

We are looking for UX Design interns who are excited to learn and improve their skill set. Candidates can be fresh graduates or final year students with a quality portfolio. The candidate will learn and work on our consumer products and services that reach millions of users worldwide. 

Key Responsibilities

This position will primarily focus on:

• Learn how UX processes work with given timelines
• Work closely with the senior designers, product management, and other teams to research and determine requirements, articulate user needs, translate those needs into concepts, and develop elegant interface designs. 
• Build strong relationships within your team
• Attend all cross-functional meetings
• Assist other designers to deliver high-level concepts to solve known problems
• Primarily focused on execution
• Knows project’s target users, personas, their jobs, tasks, use cases, and goals
• Learn how to start design work by understanding customer and business problems
• Explore as many ways to solve problems. Identify pros & cons, questions, and implications
• Follow fundamentals of good UI design and building blocks for Visual Design
• Regularly communicate your work and status clearly and coherently
• Learn how to set cycle, weekly and daily goals

Knowledge and Skills

• The candidate should be a team player with some capabilities in User research, Usability testing, Information Architecture, Interaction design, Prototyping, visual design, and verbal & written communication.
• Knowledge of a variety of design and prototyping tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and Invision
• Collaborative with strong communication skills
• A balance of good visual and interaction design skills.
• Ownership and time management skills

Qualification and Experience

• Fresh or right out of university, with a quality portfolio
• You are currently studying towards / just finished a Bachelor's degree from any known university.
